He earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Parma in 2023, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university in 2025.

During his Master's degree, he focused on deep learning techniques for medical image analysis, with particular attention to semantic segmentation in the surgical domain. His Master's thesis was carried out in collaboration with a medical startup working in cardiac surgery, with the goal of developing and evaluating advanced deep learning models for semantic segmentation of cardiac surgical videos.

His Master's thesis title is:"Cardiac Semantic Segmentation: Development and Comparative Analysis of Advanced Deep Learning Models"

He is currently a PhD student at IMPLab, University of Parma. His research focuses in deep learning and generative models for understanding and generation of medical images, volumetric data, and videos.
